Instructions
1. Cut Fabric and cardboard: Use scissors to cut out your bookmark shaped on cardboard and 2 pieces of fabric. Make sure the fabric pieces a slightly bigger than the cardboard, so you have room for the cardboard after sewing the fabric.
2. Sew the Fabric: Pin the 2 sids of the fabric together, pattern-sides facing each other. Using a sewing machine or by hand, sew 3 of the 4 sides. Flip the material so the pattern-side is now facing out.
3. Add The Cardboard: Slip the piece of cardboard into the fabric pocket you have made. Sew the last side closed with the cardboard inside.
4. Make a hole for ribbon: Use a hole puncher to punch a hole through the fabric and cardboard. Take your ribbon and tie it through the hole. (skip this if you do not want to add a ribbon).
5. Add Embellishments: Using a hot glue gun or strong adhesive, attach the embellishments. If adding a ribbon, you can also glue an embellishment to it for extra charm.
